Starters

If you've just left college or university, you’ll probably be looking for a job where you can put what you’ve learned into practice, and start broadening your horizons. TNT offers you the perfect conditions for doing just that. Firstly, because we are as ambitious as you are. Secondly, because we offer graduates attractive projects and assignments, plus the necessary tools to carry them out.

TNT Graduate Recruitment recruits, selects, and appoints recent graduates (of both universities and higher vocational colleges) with a maximum of one year’s work experience and no older than 28 to a number of TNT company entities in the Netherlands.

TNT strongly believes in “learning by doing”. When you start work with us, you will therefore be given a real position with real responsibilities. You will also have every opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills through training sessions and courses during the Young Executive Programme. You can join this programme at any given date during the year.

Starters can join various areas of the organisation: Logistics, Marketing & Sales, Information Technology, Finance & Control, Human Resources, and a number of other specialisations. Depending on your particular interests, you will be assigned to an appropriate position within one of these areas.

Young TNT

Work is often more than just a source of income. Starters want to get to know their colleagues and all aspects of TNT. Young TNT is an ideal way of sharing experience with colleagues who are at the same stage of their career. Young TNT also allows you to build up a network and to broaden your horizons as regards the TNT organisation. At the same time, it’s meant to be enjoyable!

Young TNT is an international association for all TNT starters during the first five years of their career. It involves all kinds of activities, for example:

  • visits to business units
  • international trips to TNT sites outside the Netherlands
  • presentations by guest speakers
  • sporting events
  • cultural events
  • drinks get-togethers and gala occasions.

Members of Young TNT receive the quarterly magazine BeYoung, containing articles about a special theme, an events calendar, columns, business cases, and interviews. The BeYoung website is http://young.tnt.com.
