Board of Management
The Board of Management is responsible for TNT’s mission, vision and strategy, its implementation as well as its over all results. At present, the Board of Management consists of four members: the CEO, the CFO and two group managing directors.
The group managing directors of each of TNT’s divisions are responsible for the development and execution of the business strategy and operations of the division within the framework set by TNT’s corporate strategy.
TNT’s reporting structure is in line with the management structure of the two divisions, and its corporate legal structure has largely been brought in line with its reporting structure.
The Board of Management consists of the following four members:
- M.P. (Peter) Bakker, Chief Executive Officer
- C.H. (Henk) van Dalen, Chief Financial Officer
- H.M. (Harry) Koorstra, Group Managing Director Mail
- M.C. (Marie-Christine) Lombard, Group Managing Director Express
Following the requirements of the Dutch Corporate Governance Code, all members of TNT's Board of Management are appointed or re-appointed for a four-year term according to a re-appointment schedule (see download below). The duties and powers of the Board of Management, its relations with the external auditor, the Supervisory Board, shareholders and analysts, the decision-making procedures and its general standing rules are laid down in the by-laws of the Board of Management, which are compliant with the Dutch Corporate Governance Code and can be downloaded below.
