TNT N.V. is currently listed and traded on the Amsterdam stock exchange, Euronext Amsterdam. In 2008, 642 million TNT shares were traded on Euronext Amsterdam (2007: 611 million). TNT is included in the AEX index, which normally consists of the top 25 companies in the Netherlands, ranked on the basis of their turnover in the stock market and free float.
TNT was also previously listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). We de-listed from that exchange on 18 June 2007, after deciding the costs and requirements of the listing were no longer justified by the low trading volume in our shares. We ended our US reporting obligations at the same time. By operation of law, TNT’s deregistration became effective 90 days after filing – i.e. on 16 September 2007. Since then, TNT’s ordinary shares have only been listed on Euronext Amsterdam.
